Is this a real venue ticket or just a receipt?

Your checkout is a paid reservation of those seats. Official Ticketmaster tickets transfer to your email no later than 7 days before the show. Accept that transfer. Those tickets are how you get in.

Who are you? Is this VENU or Ticketmaster?

Lux Fire Pit Suites. We sell owner inventory in T4-1 and T3-20. Not the venue, not VENU, and not Ticketmaster.

Is this rain or shine?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Outdoor amphitheater shows typically run rain or shine. Severe weather can pause entry or allow a short re-entry. Check your show page the day of.

How bad is parking and traffic after the show?

At sister VENU venues like Ford Amphitheater, exit traffic is the usual pain. Closest lots fill first and can take 20 to 40 minutes to clear. Plan extra time, or use rideshare drop-off. Sunset at McKinney lists 5,000+ on-site spaces. Optional VIP Parking is available at checkout.

What is VIP Parking?

VIP Parking is a pass for a preferred lot closer to Fire Pit Suite entry. One pass per order, not per seat. It is not included with the seats. Texas sales tax at 8.25% applies when you add it. The pass is delivered with the official tickets or by email before the show. If we cannot deliver a pass you paid for, that charge is refunded. General on-site parking is at no extra charge. Optional VIP Parking is available at checkout.

Is there a clear bag policy?

Most VENU amphitheaters use a clear bag policy. Typically one clear bag up to about 12" × 6" × 12", or a small clutch. Backpacks and large purses are usually turned away. Confirm on the McKinney show page before you go.

Can I bring a blanket, chair, or cooler?

Fire Pit Suite and fixed-seat areas do not need lawn chairs. Coolers, outside alcohol, and large bags are typically prohibited. Soft blankets and small cushions are often allowed in GA. Suite guests already have in-suite seating.

Are Lower Bowl 1 and 2 standing room?

No. On the official Sunset preliminary seating plan (11/15/2024), Lower Bowl 1 (940) and Lower Bowl 2 (1,612) are fixed seating, not SRO. General Admission is also listed as fixed seating on that plan.

What’s included with a Fire Pit Suite reservation?

The seats you pick, in that suite, for that show: nothing else is bundled. Official tickets transfer to your email no later than 7 days before the show. Tax is added at checkout. There are no extra fees. Not included: food, drinks, wait staff, or a restroom of your own. Those are the venue’s. You pay the venue if you use them. General on-site parking is at no extra charge. Optional VIP Parking is available at checkout. It is never bundled, and it is taxed at the same 8.25% when you add it.

Do I get the whole suite?

Only if you buy every seat in it. T4-1 has 4 seats. T3-20 has 10. The seats you pick are where you sit. Buy a pair and you sit in those two seats. Other seats in the same suite may sell to other fans. You share the fire pit and the aisle. Be respectful.

Are the seats I click the seats I sit in?

Yes. Seat 1 is seat 1. You do not pick a suite and then sit anywhere inside it. Sit in the seats on your reservation.

Where do I sit relative to the fire pit?

A 4-person suite has two 2-seat sofas facing each other across a square center fire pit, with a 3-foot access aisle at the back. A 10-person suite adds 3-seat sofas on the left and right. Open a suite on the map to see the published floor plan.

When do I get in?

This confirmation is your paid reservation. Official Ticketmaster tickets transfer to the email you used at checkout, no later than 7 days before the show. Accept that transfer. Those tickets are how you enter.

What time do doors open?

At sister VENU venue Ford Amphitheater, doors usually open about an hour before showtime. Sunset at McKinney has not published fixed door times yet, so treat that as a guide. Your Ticketmaster tickets and the show listing have the actual doors and show times for that night. Email tickets@luxfirepitsuites.com if you need show-day help.

What if Sunset is not open yet?

Target opening is Spring 2027. If the venue is not open in time, or we cannot transfer official tickets, you get a full refund.

What if the show is cancelled?

Accepted Answer

If the show is cancelled before it starts, full refund of what you paid (seats, tax, parking). If official tickets are not transferred by 7 days before, full refund. If you change your plans, no refund. Once the show has started, no refund.

What if the show starts and then gets cut short?

Accepted Answer

Once the show has started, no refund. That includes weather or other problems that cut it short.

Question 19

Can I resell or give these seats to someone else?

Accepted Answer

Give unused seats to a friend in the official app after we transfer them: yes. Sell them on StubHub, SeatGeek, Facebook, or anywhere else: no. You need this shop’s written consent, and any resale must be relisted here. Email us and we will try to relist them. After the official tickets are in your app, we cannot take them back. Do not sell tickets in the venue parking lot or at the gate for more than face value (Texas law).

Which suite is wheelchair accessible?

T4-1 (4-person, house left) is handicap accessible. T3-20 (10-person, house right) is not. If you need an accessible suite, choose T4-1.

Question 21

How far is the bathroom or the bar?

Estimate from VENU’s published layout, not a walk-through. We will replace this with counted steps at opening.

T4-1 is closest: about 20 to 40 steps, under a minute, to the restrooms and bar behind the Fire Pit Suites.

T3-20 is farther and on the other side of the bowl: about 40 to 80 steps, about 1 to 2 minutes.

Food and drinks can come to the suite. You pay the venue. You may not need to leave your seats for a drink.

Can I bring a fan?

Yes. A small battery fan is a good idea in Texas heat, if it fits the venue bag rules. Sunset has not published opening bag rules yet. We do not sell fans.

Can I buy one seat, or an odd number?

Seats sell in pairs (1–2, 3–4, and so on).

What about noise, neighbors, and curfew?

Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs has drawn many neighbor noise complaints and city monitoring. McKinney will publish its own sound limits and end times. Shows usually end by local ordinance. Expect production to respect that.

Is tailgating allowed?

At Ford, tailgating and overnight parking are not permitted in venue lots. Assume the same until Sunset publishes otherwise. Do not plan a lot party.
